Almog, DMD, Prosthodontist, Chief of the Dental Service, VA New Jersey Health Care System (VANJHCS). Figures 3a & 3b: Figure 3: Intraoral views of the screw-retained restoration. Conclusions As more and more dental prac- titioners are focusing on im- plant-supported fixed restora- tions, restoring dentists need to understand the restorative options they may have to deal with. Dental practitioners and dental labs need to be pre- pared to use a screw-retained implant-supported fixed par- tial denture, and thereby pro- mote the utmost choices of serviceability, cosmetic result and maintenance of optimised bite possible.
