AD BEGO Implant Systems The new surgical tray—Focused on the essentials BEGO Implant Systems is delighted to be able to present the new BEGO S-LineTrayPlus with the ap- propriately redesigned drills. The new tray con- tains everything except the 5.5 drill module, which can be or- deredseparatelyasrequired. The long-awaited optimised surgical tray is not only more clearlyorganisedbutalsoeasier to use. The size of the tray has been adapted to match the BEGO Mini/OsseoPlus tray. This was achieved in part by separating the drill stops. In ad- ditiontothespacesaved,wehavealsomadeiteas- ier to remove the tray from its container, thus facili- tating greater ease of use in a practice or clinic set- ting. The drills have undergone to a complete redesign – thecuttinggeometryhasbeenoptimisedfornotice- ably smoother and safer working when preparing the implant bed. Moreover, extremely clear depth markingsintheformofblocklasermarksandaddi- tional grooves help to accurately gauge drilling depth. The paralleling posts and depth gauge have been modified in line with the new drill geometry – for optimum implant bed preparation. We have removed the internal cooling feature from thenewdrillsforhygienereasons.Thiswastheideal way to meet hygiene chain require- ments as prescribed by QA stan- dards; furthermore, there is no longer any need for time- consumingcleaningofthe internal cooling chan- nel using cleaning reamers. By way of transition, the pre- vious generation of surgical trays, contain- ers, drills (with internal cooling) and other BEGO S- Line instruments will still be available for purchase until the end of 2011.
